The appetizers are also not to be overlooked. The samosas here are crispy, flaky, and filled with a savory blend of spiced potatoes and peas. Delicious Tikka Fries & veg Pakora (snackes on some in the car, good portions) Can't wait to try more dishes when I have time to sit down, the restaurant has outdoor seating next to the park in the neighborhood with other local businesses. Show some support and enjoy great food!

This place is sooo good. My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night and had amazing service and even better food. We ordered 6 different items and everything was amazing. We got so full and had leftovers, all for a very affordable price. The quality of the food was great and we were really impressed with the atmosphere.

100% worth every penny . The Afgu Naan with Malai Kofta and Zafran veg pilaf is a literal treat on a cold winter day. Highly recommend. One of the most affordable yet delicious Indian restaurants in Bay Area and South-bay.

I recently visited this Indian restaurant, and it was an incredible experience. The food was exceptionally fresh, with flavors that were rich and perfectly balanced. The recent remodel of the restaurant has not only enhanced the ambiance but also seemed to elevate the overall dining experience, making the dishes even more enjoyable. On top of that, the customer service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

We arrived at a very quiet time, with no one else dining. Staff were very accommodating, service was relatively quick, and the food was delicious! The naan was fresh and crispy and although we asked for mild it still had very good flavor.

We were a group of 6, and the service and seating were fantastic. The naan was good quality, and the seafood curry was tasty. The spice level was a little on the milder side but you can request more spicy. We had gulab jamun for dessert and it was warm, fresh, and tasted superbly.

In town on business, decided to try a new Indian place. Had the chicken Korma and saag paneer. The service was excellent and the dishes were super tasty. They use organic chicken and there was just the right amount of spice. Garlic naan was flavorful crispy and light. Will be craving this place now. There is no Indian food in San Diego like this.

It is an unexpected place for a very delicious Indian food. It is time to say goodbye to two of my favorite places: Amber, and Kabob and Curry. Swaad is like a mom and pop place with authentic Indian food. I had a veggie Samosa as an appetizer and it was so delicious. We ordered a chicken tikka masala, dahl, paneer tikka masala, and tandoori chicken. I was overwhelmed by the flavors and spices. It gave me a good kick in the mouth of a real authentic Indian food. Thanks Swaad for serving us amazing dishes. We can't wait to come back to try other dishes. On the way home my family talked how amazing the food was and when are we coming back there. Also we need to invite friends to check out this place. Five stars for the foods and five stars for the super friendly waitress who served our table well and has a very good memory.
